Car Windshield Recycling Machine can be used for the separation of pure glass and the PVB/SGP/EVA interlayer materials from waste Windshield.

Car windshields are composed of two layers of flat glass, with one or more layers of PVB (polyvinyl butyral) sandwiched between them. The higher-quality PVB used in automotive laminated glass can be recovered and holds significant recycling value when replaced in the scrap car disassembly and maintenance market. Our company has designed a specialized waste car laminated glass separator, a piece of equipment tailored for the effective separation of glass from laminated glass. This equipment is widely employed in the recycling, processing, and reuse of waste car windshields, significantly enhancing the recovery value of the materials involved.

Processing Flow

General Process: Roll Press → Conveyor → Separator

Detailed Operating Procedures:

1. Connect a water sprinkler pipe to the roll press

(place the pipe in the middle of the roll shaft).

2. Workers place the automobile windshield on

the feeding platform of the roll press and push it

for feeding (see the picture.

3. Stack the broken laminated glass that comes out neatly,

cover it with a tarpaulin to allow it to absorb water sufficiently

(see the picture).

4. Place the covered laminated glass for 2-3 days until the PVB turns milky white,

then proceed to the next processing step. Workers lift the laminated glass onto

the conveyor belt, 4-5 pieces can be placed at a time (pay attention to safety

when loading). At this time, the laminated glass enters the separator along

the conveyor belt for glass removal.

5. Stop the operation when there is no sound of glass impact and friction.

Press the open button on the wireless remote control to open the bin door for discharging

(Note: Keep away from the discharge port as it is dangerous). After discharging is completed, press the close button on the remote control to close the bin door, and continuous feeding can be carried out only after closing.

Notes

Apply lubricating grease to the bearing and reducer regularly. Check whether the nuts are loose regularly. Inspect the wear condition periodically and replace the worn parts in a timely manner if any wear is found.
